Dr. John Cottle
Dr. John Cottle, a native of Minnesota, received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago IL in 2004. Dr. Cottle graduated Cum laude and was a recipient of the prestigious Trustee’s scholarship. Following graduation Dr. Cottle worked with Sabates Eye Centers as one of two optometrists on staff, specializing in contact lens evaluations, surgical post op care and primary eye care. Dr. Cottle also participated in lectures to Ophthalmology residents at UMKC on topics such as contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Cottle received his bachelors of science in Forestry, magna cum laude, from Michigan Tech University. Dr. Cottle is an active member in the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and the Rotary Club of Lee’s Summit. Dr. Cottle and his wife Christie live in Lee’s Summit. Dr. Cottle enjoys traveling, playing golf and other relaxing outdoor activities.

Dr. Eric Roadman
Dr. Eric Roadman is a native of Lee’s Summit and a graduate of Lee’s Summit High School. Eric attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology while competing on the track team all four years. He then went on to Chicago and completed his Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in 2000. While at ICO Eric received Marchon’s Practice Management Award and was co-founder and president of the Scleral Spurs soccer club. Eric is a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association and the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. In his free time Eric enjoys tennis, golf, and competing in and training for triathlons. Eric is very happy to be back in Lee’s Summit. He and his wonderful wife, Betsy, look forward to raising their twin boys in the same town that has blessed him with so many great friends and memories.
